@veer66 Does the place that makes your filters make bamboo ones too? I found the bamboo ones seem to do a bit better job of letting more flavour through.

@veer66 the Moka Bialetti only needs water+ground coffee+heat. Why adding a paper filter? 😐

@ranx With paper filter, coffee is cleaner and it tastes a bit different.

@veer66 From what I've seen here, the bamboo ones are a few pennies more than the regular filters. I like the idea of bamboo because, from what I've heard, it takes bamboo about 3 to 5 years to grow, where things like pine, and such, around 50 to 70 years to do the same.

@flutergork Modified Eucalyptus, which is the main trees for producing paper here, takes 3-5 years to grow too. Anyway, Bamboo sound more delicious than Eucalyptus. So I will try Bamboo. 🤔

@veer66 That sounds really interesting. Any idea where I can read more about this? Been getting a bit bored of the same old taste of my Bialetti moka pot. Where can I find these extra filters? Aeropress filters mb?

@veer66 There was no flavour for the paper, that I could tell. I have some others that look similar, but noticed the difference.

@esi @veer66 Based on what I've heard you can use Aeropress filters, but but I've cut out of regular filters. I've used the grounds basket of my moka pot as a guideline for size, cutting it a bit wider. At least in a Bialetti you don't need to be all that exact.I do wet them though, since it helps them stay still.

@Asimech @esi I bought them from Lazada. I guess you can them online too. The keywords are "moka pot paper".
