Hello world!I'm Gabriel, a Canadian GNU/Linux & FOSS enthusiast. I've been running arch linux with KDE for years! Looking to get connected with liberty-minded people from across the world!I've dabbled in almost everything I can get my hands on, from #blender & #FreeCAD to #bitcoin & #smartcontracts. @gabriel Welcome to #starnix I'm the administrator, my counter part is @mathstew92 however he might not always be available. Our moderators are @10leej @syscrash and @kirby The instance is technology focused and is pretty chill, I don't think you'll have too much of an issue here. We are a fediverse first platform and have aspirations of becoming a fully fledged network of services, but currently we are only hosting a mastodon instance.

Mainly ActivityPub but other protocols as well as non-federated softwares.Some ideas I've had are.* Mastodon ✅* Self-hosted fedi relay (for following tech related instances)* Pleroma (for those that want to use PleromaFE)* Misskey (🍮)* Peertube (for video hosting and streaming)* Matrix and XMPP* Searx* _Secret black project after Searx_ :^)
