       100% No question. An old TIM friend from my libfem days was ALWAYS sick and in and out of the hospital trying to get a diagnosis and get to the bottom of the mysterious ailments. I would see these updates all the time "Tests came back negative. Back to square one!" and all this stuff.It was common sense to me, but I didn't have the heart to suggest that maybe all the wrong sex hormones he'd been pumping into his body was finally fucking him up. I'm sure it was. He was healthy before he started up the medical experimentation.I have a feeling that one day, there may be some class action lawsuit, if it's not dismissed as 'transphobic" first.

       @FemaleIsNotAFeeling It has become increasingly common for people to believe that modern medicine is limitless and that the drugs they take won’t cause side effects. Side effects, in their minds, are super rare and doctors only list them because they are obligated to for insurance purposes, so they don’t make the connection between the drugs they take and the negative effects they experience. People have been conditioned to not listen to their own bodies, especially when they are on medications.  Trans people are on a whole other level of being divorced from reality, so it doesn’t shock me that they would be more likely to suffer from self-inflicted chronic disease and not make the connection. They are usually not just on cross sex hormones but also drugs to treat anxiety/depression, and then whatever else they are given to treat the mysterious chronic illnesses they develop.

       @GCat @FemaleIsNotAFeeling I lived in a house where once the man learned that his anus was connected to his penis hole he and some staff give him comfort with the idea of fish skin one day being used to fix it.        @RockTheBoat It's pretty much an experimental study at this point and all the people taking those wrong sex hormones are the lab rats that will one day give us the data. They can't hide it forever.
