       Does anyone in our community know anything about #opensource #hearingaids ? I have a child that is needing hearing aids and would love to know what options are available.

       @LinuxLounge @WendyDLN Not to mention that hearing aids shouldn't be tinkered with. They are highly specialized and require expertise to set up properly.

       @LinuxLounge I first got the idea to check into opensource options for hearing aids because our audiologist uses opensource software to help her control her type 1 diabetes (has her pump deliver insulin based on her numbers). So they do things other than desktop/servers. However, the community is much smaller. The most I've seen is a board for development.
