@kev its the federated equivalent of goodreads, which is kinda cool, I am on https://bookrastinating.com :blobcatderpy: but the local database is still a bit small, importing books from other instances or from openlibrary is pretty easy tho

@kev I've been meaning to read the third book. I read the first two, and I was kind of tepid on the second book. A friend told me the third was really good though.

@kev Sanderson makes for a very fluent read. And the guy doesn't stop writing - four secret novels written during the pandemic! I haven't read any of the Mistborn trilogy, but the Stormlight Archive is beautiful.

@kev I will admit, I like Era 1 the best (western-like isn't really my favorite genre of anything, really), but I still have enjoyed Era 2 thus far.

i simply couldn’t get into elantris. probably because i decided to read stormlight first and everything else (including mistborn) is a shade less good. at least for me anyway. warbreaker, however, was fantastic.

@kev I would highly recommend the Stormlight Archives by the same author as a follow up.Some of the only books I've read at least a dozen books, and the only series I've ever restarted *immediately* after finishing :D

@bbbhltz a lot of people have said stormlight is better than mistborn. I’m really enjoying Steelheart at the moment, so will probably do that series then move on the stormlight.

@x Ya the beginning kinda drags a bit but the rest of it knocks it out of the park. I do need to read the trilogies though, both Mistborn and Stormlight, that way I won't gush over Elantris so much :D
