And:NiceAudioI always forget to mention it. But, it’s a capable little class that can operate a background music stream and in-memory sound effect buffers with “infinite polyphony”, and you’ll be able to do 3D positional audio with all the bells and whistles. It’s capable enough to be able to use the SDK to create DJ software, a DAW, and even a fully-featured video editor with effects, transitions, etc. Sure. We’ll talk about all that and more as we go.…and the WebRTC features coming soon to enable Multiplayer Memes, which are also coming. So, yeah. That.RT: https://nicecrew.digital/objects/fc8cf740-8746-4b1d-98ed-28d3bc9366fa

I don't fully understand what's being said here but DAW's? Sure. Video editing? Ok.

Sorry - I’ve been multi-posting. I’m building a basic gaming SDK for the browser. Nothing fancy at first, but will be great for creating playable memes (it’s first purpose). It gets things up and running with a nicely abstracted system layer that makes building “apps” that want a “frame rate” while rendering to a “canvas” a lot easier.Games do that. But, so do DAWs and video editors. And, the Audio engine in this will be more than powerful enough to build even an advanced DAW or an advanced video editor. I mean to say you can build a 3-oscillator softsynth, effects plugins, whatever. The underlying APIs do all that stuff now.So, while I’m initially making it to build some playable memes at an alarming rate, I may eventually do silly things like a stream replay editor that can extract “clips” for sharing on social media, or an actual DJ setup that can support MIDI controllers (not joking, that’s here now).I guess it’ll depend on how “cute” I’m feeling on any given weekend :)

"I mean to say you can build a 3-oscillator softsynth, effects plugins, whatever. The underlying APIs do all that stuff now."Are you saying that this code has audio FX & generators built in?

It’s just using the Web Audio API. And, yes, the Web Audio API provides an “oscillator” node, convolution matrix node, etc. It even provides an Analyzer node for monitoring things across a spectrum. And all the routing you could want.
