@LoliHat I mean, I'm okay with hard boiled eggs but... Wouldn't it be easier to just let shell on ? I wonder how much millions went into making a hard-boiled egg unsheller !Also thanks for the retro anime, always looking for more !

@Siltaer yuyup, I heard that too ! Nonetheless, you don't need the plastic thing, just buy a grape already, and put 12 raisin in a bowl X_X

@otyugh [Devil advocate] Maybe it helps to fight grapes shortage ? [/Devil advocate]About peeled fruits : and what if fruits came with a biodegradable packaging, perfectly sized, and produced by the plant itself ! ?

@LoliHat Let's try a different explanation. The ones doing this are most likely in a oligopolistic position to start off, they can do whatever the technocrat think people want most of the time. Most demand don't exist, they are created out of thin air after all. M'well thin air or heavy industrial processes involving flooding the market, being the only option, propaganda, and such. Happens to work. Then it get to be a cultural thing and it's "the people choice", market did good !

@otyugh But for them it makes sense (and eventually us for getting food also for eating makes sense). Did you ever have another way in mind (I'd be interested to hear)The convenience and widespread petrol-plastic is also what they get back in recycling so for them makes sense in that way. I'm not happy at all, as it's all energy, but what else but to reduce products life outside of airtight packaging? Any ideas?I thnk if we could reject it and even take non-plastic things then well this might be better. This is what I do. I only buy maybe 10 things the same and perhaps metal cans is something I do use (hmmm)I'd like to pay those that do homegrown stuff (which wouldn't be enough to feed the world I think. So back to this industrial cycle.I have cabbage, broccoli, , carrots, cauliflower, potatoes, oats, muesli, bread and everything veg mostly unbagged + no plastic (taking my own bags / rucksack). I also use water very minimally and other things.
