My mother and aunt died by Ovarian cancer. :Thonkeng: Anybody else lost female loved ones to that cancer?If one more female member of my family dies to Ovarian cancer, I have to wonder if a outside source killed them.

@minespatch My mom just managed to beat the odds. Hysterectomy then went thru chemo. Then ended up getting cellulitis and broke her leg. She had to spend time in a nursing home and caught the coof there. All in one year.

@minespatch @Frank_O_Pinon It usually depends on when it is diagnosed; the earlier the better. And with treatments, they work better for some people than for others. It also depends on what caused it. Some families have genetic predisposition to it, which can lead to more aggressive forms of cancer.

@chibi @Frank_O_Pinon Yeah.I guess what has me suspicious is that my aunt was my father's sister.So my mother who's not blood related to my aunt died the same death. 🤔

@minespatch @Frank_O_Pinon Ovarian cancer is one of the more common cancers for women, and one that is notoriously difficult to diagnose early. I am for sure not discounting the possibility of extraneous forces, though cancer is, unfortunately, too common.

@chibi @minespatch J&J is still trying to weasel out of a massive class action suit over having asbestos in their talcum powder from the mid 70's until the early 2000's. Dirty fucks have been using bankruptcy to get out of paying out 2 billion in settlements.
