The procedure didn’t help and now Jazz is more depressed than ever and has a binge eating disorder instead of the promised “gender euphoria”. Even said that they still don’t feel at home in their body with these cutting edge medical treatments and family and friends who are all supportive of the transition. An ideal situation for a trans person but somehow the pain resulting from the procedure causes another, possibility worse dysphoria than the gender variant. After all, dysphoria means bad feeling and can refer to other conditions besides gender dysphoria like pmdd...Jazz has not been cured of dysphoria. And has been used by the family for TV profits.

He can take joy where ever he can. I seriously wish he could break away from his family, go somewhere that no one knows him or somewhere that people can talk to him like he's a person and not an object of fascination or pity. Just, let him live a life, you know? His parents offered his body up and that is such a great betrayal. He needs like a support group for child stars and for those forcibly castrated. There’s an idea that gender dysphoria is something that is impossible to understand or cope with without either suicide or giving a ton of money to the Butcher of Ardmore and company. And that harms trans people more than anyone else. I don’t know how she’s still practicing and apparently has been for 20(?) years or something. She blackmails her patients if they complain online by revoking care so people might be afraid to go after her. She also sues patients for defamation. But trans people have turned her “care” into its own word which is called getting “Rumered” (Butchered). But honestly she is not much better than other surgeons and they tend to protect each other. Part of the problem is that there’s no standard technique for bottom surgery so they can’t legally show that she messed up if there isn’t a correct way to do it. The thread goes into that a little bit I think.

If you are young with a transfriend (say in high school) I'd worry that your friend has been talking too much to strange adults on the internet. Some grown adults get sexually excited at the thought of tricking young boys and barely legal men into being a part of their sexual fetishes. They enjoy the feeling of control they get over manipulating the other people.Then some teens/barely adults are just trying to figure themselves out but they act like it's so cool in order to feel better about doing something edgy. If you know someone taking puberty blockers they're literally taking the same meds that were used to chemically castrate sex offenders. The sex offenders fought to not be forced to talk them. It isn't standardized about how much of this medication is given to children. These drugs are making a lot of money for adults. These adults don't care about your health. Teens and young adults are supposed to explore who they are, however they are at risk of being seen as profit making objects by drug pushers. Sometimes being a good friend means not doing everything to make someone happy in the moment but instead to want them to be physically healthy. And safe from sex weirdos who want to castrate them.

When I was young and in the gender ideology movement, “non-binary” and “trans guys” would constantly have to warn each other over “trans women” who would rape or abuse us. (Hospitals are not the only places where this level of safeguarding needs to happen. If you need a more detailed explanation of why we have safeguarding and what it entails then please feel free to ask.) The other important reason is to respect dignity and privacy. Given that there are so many other places within society that people of both sexes may freely meet and mingle, it seems strange to insist that this must happen in hospital wards where people have other more pressing issues to concern them. You speak about respect. Remember that respect is about considering the feelings of others. Most people prefer same-sex wards because of the dignity it affords during what could already be a very stressful time. This is the respect offered to all patients; men in male wards, women in female wards. In my (thankfully limited) experience of NHS hospitals I was shown plenty of respect by those working there because back then their concern (as it should be) was returning me to health rather than fretting over pronouns or rainbow lanyards.

@Ada200404 @HebrideanHecate I've personally had to endure men (family members of patients, NOT medical techs) walking back and forth in a pre-surgery ward, trying to catch a glimpse of women in various states of undress. We were only allowed a tiny sheet, smaller than a twin size, and the nurses kept leaving the curtains open around the bed. I had no privacy at all and it was an extremely traumatic thing to deal with while I awaited my surgery. Also, FUCK YOU for thinking trans privacy is more important than women's safety, privacy, and dignity.

Scientific industry = pharmaceutical industry - which is making huge profits out of turning people into lifelong drug dependants. There is scientific research providing evidence for gender identity. Lots of evidence from detransitioners and from children who received “watch and wait” therapy that gender identity does not exist but is a reflection of a child’s unhappiness.
