       "Grolier's Masterplots"These are handsome annual hardback volumes containing synopses of novels published that year, selected by best-seller lists or some such mechanism. Strong bias towards English-language works published in America, unsurprisingly.My grandmother has years worth of them. My dad is convinced that nobody would want them, and the sensible thing to do is take them to the paper recycler, because they're just going to take up space.I just thought I'd check that assumption.
