One of the Free Mason logos is The Double Headed Eagle – it is a symbol representing the left and right paradigm, the 33 in the middle stands for the highest order of free masonry. The left and right paradigm meaning the two opposing forces ALWAYS feeds the one belly. via Free Mason Signs and Symbolismhttps://mrnavac.blogspot.com/2021/05/free-mason-signs-and-symbolism.html#33 #masons #freemasons @adam Wonder how this reconciles with the Knights Templar two knights on one horse symbol.

@Klaatu @adam I would recommend starting with the horse’s mouth, instead of the rubbish at that link.https://scottishritenmj.org/blog/what-is-the-scottish-rite-eagleI’m not actually clear if the image was imported into Scottish rite before the founding of the US, but it has nothing to do with the current 2 party system in the US, as it well predates that disaster.

@Klaatu @adam Our first three degrees are handled by regular local “Blue” lodges whereas there are degrees offered from 4 to 33(32 for most) in the Scottish Rite (from 1800s French/American). The York Rite has separate degrees which has the Royal Arch/Cryptic/Templar degrees (from 1700s England). The double headed eagle is from Scottish Rite read Albert Pike for details… A lot of details.
