@CSB I live in Portsmouth, Virginia and I can assure you that Black People is not a thing. There are so many different groups of Americans, unfortunately the loudest are corraled into ignorant narratives. We have so many different people here. But we have a common culture of the South. Southern Americans is more appropriate. A small minority are ghetto in the city.

@CSB the stupid idea for this is pretty old. In the 1960s/70s leftie groups like The Weathermen, and other liberal arts students had "white skin" terminology. It was a privilege sometimes, it was minority status other times and not injected. Seems to have Maoist roots and adopted for CRT.

@CSB Again, Moe is a person documenting his experience. I've experienced living where I was the white kid in a black neighborhood. I've also lived in Military areas where there are people from all over the planet in the same neighborhood. I've worked on teams where I'm the only white guy or I'm the only English speaking guy. My experience is that people are more similar than different. Also the real differences are familiar and geographic in the US.

@CSB That is a lot, but even if an American has Polish ancestry they assume it's some form of Russian and will be embarrassed to tell anyone. And if you're Polish with an accent, that is as good as being from Moscow.

@CSB this happens to everyone, if you speak Spanish you're automatically Mexican. If you have slanty eyes you're automatically Chinese. Most Americans can't even tell the difference between a Scottish accent, an Irish, an Australian or a British accent, and certainly can't tell the difference between Slavic languages or accents, it's all Russian.
