       @tfmonkey I mean there's work availible, might not pay well, but I know guys who've worked 2 jobs a day to provide for their family getting only 4 hours of sleep.First thing to do is budget, determine what you neccesary bills are,(examples: gas, insurance, food, heat, electricity, rent[if you don't have a house]) then figure out how much extra you have to earn to pay for a trade school. Well paying trade jobs are always in demand, welders electricians, plumbers.

I could mention the obvious but that itself could be a curveball for the real lesson.I don't know, because he's trying to get you to solve all his problems while using his family as human shields, meanwhile he was complacent at his dogshit job during a labor shortage while hoping a get rich quick scheme worked out?

       @tfmonkey He doesn't seem serious about working if he will try to get rich quick when the opportunity for work is at its highest. How could he be distracted that easily if his priorities were what he said they were? He may be able to turn things around, but he'll probably have to learn much of what he learns the hard way and you probably can't say much other than what you said. He has to figure out his own shit quickly or it's over. You can lead the horse to water but not force it to drink.
