@calculsoberic @catgirl I kinda expect it to be a hack at this point.Not so random looking at recent world events. Of course it always still can be a human error on Discord' end, who knows. Maybe we'll never find out.

@calculsoberic In general companies have database clusters in multiple locations, they can probably fail over. They are starting that effort.

@calculsoberic @catgirl For me Spotify is working (for a lot it doesn't). Discord isn't, but is for a friend of mine. Both in a small space in western Europe. Would ne logical we both connect to the same server, but apparently that isn't the case. Or something is f-d up

@catgirl Twitter is full of people reporting 'strange' behavior all across the internet. Look at Down Detector and see a lot of services having trouble. This can mean:1. An outage of something like Cloudflare.2. Outage of BOTH Azure and AWS, simultaneously (unlikely)3. A very specialized, probably state sponsored, attack on mostly western infrastructure. (My initial thought, not confirmed).Buckle up @stux Hopefully the Fediverse stays up tonight.

@stux @catgirl Let's hope it's just an intern screwing up a Cloudflare setting! Also yes: some services are slowly going back online, looking at multiple sources online.
