Nothing has driven home the pointlessness of talking about action on the local level than going to a small town library. I admit I fell for and pushed that cope meme myself until I experienced the impossibility of it in a town that has a population of less than 5000 and overwhelmingly votes Republican. This town has virtually no black people and all I saw in this library was black stuff and other boutique luxury issues on display. CRT adjacent stuff too. Libtards, demographically, should not be able to establish a Cultural stronghold here if you still follow your political priors, and yet the reality is they have total domination over the library, a power center for community organizing.Why?It’s just the museum and arts problem. People who identify as conservative have completely ceded the Culture ground while pretending they’re fighting a Culture War in the guise of national electoral politics. However they self-style themselves, conservatives overwhelmingly have no interest in the arts, don’t go to museums, or have any actual interest in their historical Culture unless it’s packaged in television or film media–or increasingly bitesized YouTube and TikTok meme formats that are much more easily digestible. How can you expect people who aren’t interested in their own communities, Culture, or history pre-WWII (outside of using it to try and own a political rival) to have the capacity to hold ground as small as a local library? Unless you yourself are some charismatic figure with a preternatural aura that can move masses you are not going to organize a force capable of even infiltrating your local library.It just drives home to me the importance of two things. The first is the ability to master the crowd, which was written about by Gustave Le Bon and was influential on several 20th century leaders. The second is the importance of a political and Cultural vanguard. You cannot post Return to Tradition until spontaneous revolution occurs. It will be, rhetorically and metaphorically, brutal hand-to-hand combat by what will be very few with a Culture-mission to recapture even the local library from the total Culture-distortion that infects it. You are simply not going to elect conservatives you “redpilled” that are going to take up that mission. It will require an emerging vanguard, not functionaries you are desperately pleading with.

@JSDorn I don't think that's the right way to look at it. It's more that we need to develop a full culture for our people rather than trying only to pick and choose aspects of it that appeal to us personally. It's why a podcast-only culture won't gain much ground beyond podcast listeners, and people looking for something the Right has neglected out of distaste will wind up being lumped in with the cancerous coalition of the Left.It's why I promote monster girls, actually. They are a bulwark against the degeneracy of furries by providing an alternative steeped in European mythology that doesn't emphasize attraction to features that slope into bestiality. And it's why I fervently gatekeep against furry content. A culture of our own doesn't have to be one outside of our control, it just has to represent our values and have enough wide appeal to be viable to enough guys with those values.

So, how does someone overcome such an overwhelming disadvantage? The only place where I see anything close in modern times are religious revivals. And, a Christianity that takes its queue from the OT heroes of Faith, David, Gideon, Hezekiah. These were individuals that looked to God to destroy their enemies and recover a lost (or soon to be lost) inheritance. I think it is particularly applicable to our group, because our situation seems as one sided as theirs. I would like to point out that this isn't going to come from the mega church preachers, or probably any preacher you've ever heard, they are conditioned to divest of earthly things. The way forward is going to be built on the personal relationships that individuals have with Jesus, and who aren't afraid to own something, insist on their values, and see anyone who opposes those goals be destroyed (this should be obvious that this is exactly what the other side has done forever, and we have been unnaturally conditioned to accept it when they do, and reject it for our selves). To lose their job, their wealth, their reputation, their sight and sanity. So what if you don't have the strength to bring those things about, Jesus does. He'll help anyone who depends on Him. These doers of evil certainly wont, and they wont stand a chance.

@borzoi I've lived in both very liberal areas and very conservative areas and this is spot on. In small towns that are 95+% white, you'll have some expressions of culture, like small community theaters where you'll see (increasing older, not younger) people helping with stage plays and stuff like that.But you don't see that many art exhibitions or museums. And if you do it's often leftie degenerate shit. Conservatives don't have a real impetus to create culture to push back on the left, or even to exclude leftist shit from spaces like the library.And what's even worse is that a lot of high culture these days (art museums with some of the greatest works, symphonies, museum exhibits of the ancient world), is all concentrated in cities like New York or San Francisco. I'm not going to lay all the blame on people in small towns since I think rich elites intentionally keep the nice high-culture for themselves. However it is sad when you go to a great museum full of the history and culture of Europeans and the attendees are all pretty much lefty faggots/bugpeople. If we want to win, finding ways to recapture spaces for art and history and getting deracinated people to care about those things are necessary actions.
