Their economy was in freefall. There's a very good argument that the Wuhan Flu was a DELIBERATE attempt to reverse their fortunes. @REX A Trump strong suit imo, people used to get upset not knowing sometimes but that's imo because they didn't understand the purpose it served, however putin did, he didn't like it but learned that he'd better heed what he heard... Trump understood the person that he faced... Putin is a bully, in Trump's own way he was too, but it was for a peaceful efforts in the end, putting putin on notice was beneficial no doubt...
