       @Moon @lanodan FPUs took up a lot of silicon back then.  They were on a separate chip in the early Intel family, e.g. 80387.

       @lain @Moon A bit...He told us, he noticed for some time they didn't share a lot to talk about. Having a new project (you had to prove you did some kind of project to be able to get a beBox) was the last straw.
