       @redstarfish I lost interest in Mozilla when they abandoned the concept of xulrunner and made it harder to embed the rendering engine in other projects. I became hopeful again with the rise of Rust and promise of a new embeddable engine in Servo. Which they then abandoned.I want a modular web browser framework from which people can build their own applications. What's really sad is that Google provides that. I understand what Iceweasel tries to accomplish, but it isn't interesting to me.

       @redstarfish I think I'll move to Icecat. In the meantime, is this proposal between The company formerly known as FaceBook and Mozilla some kind of an endrun around Apple's tracking blocking, unless opted in?

       @redstarfish The latest icecat release is mid 2019. Is this still relevant?
