       @thendrix it's not martial law, it just means the government can take anything they want and force anyone to do anything they want with the ability to perform summary convictions on people who refuse (I'm not sure what that means but it sounds like cops can just convict you on the spot Judge Dredd style kek).The reality is, nothing the government or media says matters because statistically speaking it's not true. Only actions matter at this point.

       @thendrix honestly not really because the sense in Canada is there are no laws. The government can do anything it wants without criticism or oversight from anyone of authority. Declaring super extra emergency changes nothing in reality. This is like Trudeau calling the protesters a fringe minority, it's so outside of reality that it's not even something you can debate. These people like in a fantasy land, and as long as they hold their opinions they can do anything they want.The government is basically walking around with a gun and shooting at people after saying "HE'S COMING RIGHT AT ME, I FEAR FOR MY LIFE". As long as the government keeps saying it, it's allowed.

       @crunklord420 @thendrix Saying one thing and doing another is just the trademark of politicians anyway. The government are angrily huffing and puffing at the plebs, while the boots on the ground aren't doing as much.Martial law would be political suicide though, especially if ordered by the son of Pierre Trudeau. October '70 is still in living memory.

       @fantastic_brush @crunklord420 I was literally talking about them invoking the Emergency Act, so they have gone there in that sense. However I don't live in Canada.
