@watch4thedrop A few days ago, my 9yo boy said “I’d rather die than get COVID” … so I set his ass down and explained him the numbers. He was cool after that.I swear if I can get my hands on the motherfuckers perpetuating this, it won’t be pretty.

@watch4thedrop We did things with the teens to make sure to try and spend time with them during the depths of this thing: 1. Ate dinner together every night. 2. spent time with them during this thing. Even stupid stuff where we would all pile into the car and go for a drive (with the dog) to try and find an open Starbucks or ice cream cone. 3. We "risked" our lives by trying to find an open restaurant in the conservative counties to eat out once a week. They never tried to lock us out.

@watch4thedrop Drop, I have barely spoken to a “friend” since this convo in March-ish 2020:Me: I can’t believe we are shutting down our state and Nation. This will be way worse than the deaths from Covid.Her: But if it saves one life…I don’t want to be responsible for causing even one death. Seriously, have only seen and spoken To her twice since that day. Believe me, I have PULLED away. Damn Libs. Got no time for them!

@watch4thedrop I just started my 15 year old daughter in therapy. Her 16 year old friend committed suicide the day after Christmas while she was desperately trying to get help to him. He lived in a locked down blue state. I have no idea if it contributed- but suicide numbers among young people are staggering right now.
