       does anybody know if for some reason the steam deck requires an always online connection. i hope it doesn't because the majority of the reason im buying is for gaming on flights (and bed) and some of the connector flights like to LA from YVR has no wifi and I would be devastated

       It's just running arch Linux and steam right? Should be able to play that offline if you go into offline mode unless valve does something silly

       @graf I believe it runs standard steam, so I doubt it requires wifi as long as you sign in before the flight. Same as a PC.
