       @urusanGood soil soil is alive with millions of microorganisms per banefully. Soil can be dead but that is worthless soil.

       @urusan it depends on how you look at the earth.And it depends on how you define life.The consequences of this thinking are how you treat it.If you think of it as mother earth, generously offering home and shelter for the plant people, you will treat it differently as if you think of it of unanimated dirt. It is a decision how we want to see and treat soil.If you take care of a piece of land and want to make it thrive, it is hard not to see soil as a living being.
