It is full of Lefties.When I was in public health school, they asked us, "If you could get your favorite study funded, what would it be?"They went around the room and students gave their answers. One woman said she would like to study how marijuana affect young Black men.Everyone oohed and ahhed at her wonderful idea.

       @mariahtj63 We were supposed to offer commentary, so I did.I said that we've already done that study. Marijuana affects Black men exactly the same way it affects Black women, the way it affects Whote women, the way it affects White men.It makes you lazy and dopey and not interested in working.

       @mariahtj63 During that time, I read an article about a study of how AIDS affects two-path native Americans of a certain tribe.They're just making up ideas and presenting them to the purseholders, who are exactly like they are.I generally kept my head down, bit it is an orgy of horseshit ideas.I knew in fifth grade that "Social Studies" was garbage.

       @BennettVarsho Really true about Social Studies. I grew up in Baltimore in the 70s, there is a family story about me bringing home a bad Social Studies grade at age 7. My mother asked me if I took social studies and as the story goes, I said, "No. The other kids take that class, but I don't."Mom was a History major so she was always laughing about this story. 🤣
