I take the controversial view (on Poast anyway) that GOP support is a proxy for healthy politics. But in the end demographics prevail, so 38% White Texas is a poor bet. I like the Dakotas. @judgedread @synapsid I think enough time has passed that I can believe in the possibility that the votes weren't tampered with. But what I won't ever be convinced of, is that the election wasn't absolutely tampered with. Social Media most certainly is responsible to whatever degree people decide, but when there are no conservative social media platforms with the same number of sheep addicted to said platforms, and the existing liberal/whatever platforms decide what is fact, and what isn't, so long as it fits their political narrative, then that absolutely translates into tampering. I've always wondered why the LARPers that have kept calling to rope whichever politicians, haven't realized those ropes might be used to greater effect elsewhere. Of course I'm just hypothesizing here..

@judgedread I don't have any proof that the ballots were, or weren't tampered with, and it might just be me trying to convince myself that we, as a country haven't slipped to that extreme, I want to hope that direct ballot interference did happen, and I realize that may be delusional. If that's a thing now, and I think we can use 2024 as a good indicator of whether we'll ever really have anything approximating a free election again because even the NeverTrumpers have to admit, Biden is worse on every measurable level. @admin There are technical problems with this.How do you get rid of Biden and Harris both? Biden is easy, declare him a vegetable. Harris can play the race card to deal with most scandals. So they're left with primarying her or Biden out. Run the 1968 scenario where the sitting president drops out after losing a major primary and the outcome tends to be defeat for the incumbent party. Even a serious primary challenge is considered political poison. Of course you can rig the election, but if the opponent is some safe candidate like DeSantis will they bother?

My wife was still involved in Girl Scouts for a while, and she would have me come help out on some of their events. The girls responded just as well to a lot of the techniques as the boys did.Kids want to be part of what's happening. They want to be engaged. For me, that meant letting go and allowing myself to be silly.
