When soldering, you deal with toxic fumes. Even if you use lead-free solder (you should not use lead-free solder), there are flux fumes and such.Wear a mask, and make sure to have proper ventilation. In a *lot* of situations, I turn on a fan to blow the fumes away from my face.

@TsRoe @libreleah its worse when it comes to melting, buy bother and try them side by side. one with lead melts easier and sticks better.Tin by itsef is a very strange element and has more to it that you could expect.
