@colonelj then why does he talk like he's Jewish? Was he even married at the time of these recordings? Traditionally men will convert to Judaism when taking a Jewish wife. Judaism is viewed as matrilineal. This is pretty much the only time Jews take conversions is for this process.

That implies he's a renounced Jew, if he married a Jewish woman on a secular/christian basis, why would he ever need to renounce? You'd only convert and become a Jew to have a Jewish marriage.

(I was raised by a WWII vet for much of my life.)When I wanted to be exposed to new ideas I’d always like, go down to the library or something and borrow random books to expand my horizons. Over lock-down that turned into buying way more 2nd hand books. (rest in piss bookshelves, I’ll have to sell them and build larger ones pretty imminently.)Talking to people about ideas is almost always just a way to like, have an excuse to talk to other people for me, or to try and prompt someone into tearing down my ideas because I want to know how resilient they are.
