@icedquinn also music streaming platforms are only as popular as they are because of our backwards privacy laws. People are using them because it's more convenient than pirating it. Most people who buy music in the first place won't gamble their money on something new but with streaming they don't have to they can just go listen.@s8n

I have some problems with music streaming and not having physical access to your music. I'd just listen locally if they went under.I'm pretty happy with Spotify tho, IMO what I'm really paying for is those algorithms, as Spotify has helped me find new music I would never have found otherwise.
