@rasterman Had a teacher that got it right before the school year started, as an extra credit unit he made us do some homework packet where we watched the surgery in a sped up thing and answered all the questions about the process, we had a group discussion after. A lot of the heavy hitters who could do something about it stand aside because they buy into the very convenient political/moral position of "well you do you, I don't judge" which is perfectly suited to allowing the rot to continue while they keep their resources on the sidelines.
