@cyberanathema @Mek101 @ColdOnesLite Japan loves having everyone be incredibly young. I don't know if this some stereotype of Asian cultures expecting people to mature quickly or something but the average jrpg protagonist has killed God before finishing middle school.

@WreckageBrother it reminds me when I was a kid I got into a fight in elementary school and I asked dad "when did you first beat a guy severely" (japanese translates poorly, it's somewhere between "beat" and "beat to death".)
