@amolith well, here you are talking about NFTs, which are completely separate aspect, made possible by ETH smart contracts. There are way different coins with different functions, like monero, Oxen and other. It's more than just ETH and "cryptobros".

@amolith @Perkon but the problem is, is not decentralized.if the blockchain is under load, all Dapps are slower. This is not what I expect from decentralization.if Elon musk writes a twit, the prices skyrockets. If Elon Musk writes a twith the prices drops. Each and every rich person is the equivalent of the central bank authority.crypt is very replicated, not decentralized.

@loweel @amolith that is valid critisism, yet blockchain doesn't need to depend on them. You can use it for different uses on coins which are under no influence of "Muskers". Yes, there is a dark side to it, but it's still revolutionary.

@Perkon @amolith don’t agree at all. If I have my e-shop with a normal LAMP, and there is a turmoil in INdia, my performance aren’t changed.When I have the same shop attached to a blockchain, but: If there is a turmoil in INdia, or Disney creates 10.000.000 N.FT because they have a new movie with advertising, then the blockchain becomes slower.Not to mention the commissions could become higher, and I have no control on this.Sorry, this is not decentralized, this is 100% centralized, monolitic, it just has a lot of backups.

@aykodev@stereophonic.space blockchains are just shit and anything based on them is useless :akko_fingerguns:IPFS is awesome and has a ton of potential. Last time I looked into it though, I disliked some of the tooling. Maybe I need to look around again soon :bunthink:
