Because they don’t remember the pain of getting it cut off as a baby, and they don’t realize it’s basically just a religious ritual designed to lessen sensation. You just kind of grow up with it, and then you’re an adult and the doctor asks if you want your kid to be circumcised, and you say yes because you’re circumcised. The cycle continues.It’s not the end of the world, but it is genital mutilation and the practice really needs to die.
