I have a confession to make.I haven't used emacs in about 3 weeks and honestly been happy with vim.I've been using vscodium for the past week. And it's got it's benefits.Of course the only thing I really miss is native org mode in emacs. The vscodium and vim plugins just aren't the same.

@10leej Of course they aren't. As well as vim modes aren't the same in any other text editors. To have the functionality, use the product, that's how I think.,

@x3mboy evil mode is really really good for emulating vim modes. But damn everything else with emacs is so daunting.

@10leej It has its fans.I use VSCodium and vim, I tried neovim, but I have problems with the GUI integration, since it's not a GUI, it just called a terminal with neovim open in it.I found interesting how easy is just to have a different config file and use the -u switch in vim. Not sure if that can be done in any other text editor, but it works so good on vim, I have configs with plugins, even at some point I have different config files per filetype
