       Flathub could be the FOSS alternative app store to steam.Just imagine foss devs releasing their games directly on flathub?The incentive? They might be able to keep more of their money on flathub where as with steam, steam keeps 30% 👀

       @geotechland Itch.io not only has a native Linux client but it's open source as well as allows developers to decide what Itch's cut will be. I like their store because they offer plenty of DRM free games; the client is optional; they allow developers to list plenty of info about the game such as engine and license; have built in Wine support for those who want it; allow sandboxing games; and have a good forum. I don't see what Flatpak offers me over Itch.io.

       @PublicNuisance Weird I never knew they had an app. It's not really well advertised on their website.I like flatpak because its a place where you can download anything. It doesn't make sense to have a game only app store.
