       @xerz I still wish gnome would just realize that forcing csds on apps isn't the way to go in an app ecosystem like linux's, where apps want to be able to target multiple platforms with a single binaryI just checked out the new libdecor-based decorations in retroarch, and they're somehow way worse than any fallback csd implementation I've used...

       @tromino obviously at GNOME they don't think they have a need to support what they see as non-native apps while introducing their own themed headerbar… but then not a single other WM/DE seems to care, so :blobcatderpy:

       @tromino @xerz to be fair to libdecor, 0.1 is more like a proof of concept, 0.2 (see this MR [1]) should should drastically improve the look and feel of the decorations.[1] https://gitlab.gnome.org/jadahl/libdecor/-/merge_requests/43
