       It’s completely unacceptable that TLS 1.3 has been finalized since 2018, designed started in 2014, and yet we still do not have 100% adoption and support of TLS 1.3 in 2022.

       @catgirl Other than unsupported systems like android and maybe still LibreSSL, what doesn't have TLS 1.3?

       @lanodan A large amount of Mastodon and Pleroma instances couldn’t federate during a brownout where I turned off TLS 1.2 support to see the impact on my instance.

       @lanodan a fork sounds awesome. I don’t want to see Pleroma disappear over community drama. I like the project 💜I’ll probably be interested in collaborating to do some compatibility testing to make sure that everything works as expected but lots of research is needed. It’s very early stages code currently.My goals are to create a lightweight Mastodon alternative that uses traditional object oriented programming language in my case Java. GraalVM will be used to get native speeds similar to C.
