       @parasurv normally I find Joe Rogan to be a bit extreme in his takes, yet lately he is making some good points, explaining it well and supporting in with facts. Previously I viewed him as "yet another conspiracy theorists". But he is not that, he is truly worried. And a lot of times about things I am worried about too.The Metaverse will be hell created on earth. I, as a simple individual, will do everything in my power to try and help stop this or greatly improve this. 1/2

       @parasurv I mean: try to use as many Humane Tech as possible, move people over, convince people of the fact that we go into this dystopia, without sounding like a conspiracy nutjob. It's hard, but it's kinda becoming a goal in my life. I am a big supporter of freedom, democracy, human rights. Partly because I am cristian, and partly because I have family in countries that fought hard to get those right we see as granted.

       @thahajemnireal I agree. I think  talking about this stuff in our social circle, no matter if it's online or AFK, is the key. I think we have a hard time right now, because of the pandemic. Many people are lonely, and reach for the smartphone and the internet. These things are so convenient, and we don't really see that we can easily lost our humanity, and become just some kind of robot. Which sounds like doomworld, but I think that's where we are heading. I used to have a tablet many years ago, and I used it as a crutch to deal with some stuff in my life, I developed insomnia, gained a lot of weight and I become lazy. After this experience I said "never again". I never had a smartphone, but after handling an ipad I thought, "oh this can be useful" - well I was foolish. :)

       @thahajemnireal I don't know if you have seen the movie "Her" with Joaquin Phoenix and Scarlett Johansson, but it plays in a not so distant future where people can install AI systems on their computer, and talk to them freely. Very freely. I think it's a good conversation starter, although the movie is very adult themed.
