My sister feels uncomfortable that her coworkers are still asking her if she is saving up for a car. In a normal setting, this would be mundane small talk. Yet in this case, she believes these people will rob her if she says, yes. Some guy at her job had his card stole and charged. It is bad out here. If you are single, childless, sober, modest dressed, and work all of your hours, your peers will think you have money to "share" with them.

@DuchessOfMars Your sister has expectations of a "normal" setting of which this case would be small talk. So if those are expectations, then they exist but at what location? at what time in what timezone? It's almost like a robot asking her repetitively over and over is she saving up for a car. If so she can avoid it still going on by peeking in and viewing her coworkers talking about something totally irrelevant to her saving up for a car.

@springheterson She already said no, it is too expensive and they ask again at another date and she says the same thing.
