       It honestly makes be wonder if Jan 6 (which I'm certain WAS/IS an op that well-intentioned people got roped into) really was intended to be a second 9/11 all along, because kids can't remember 9/11 anymore and they laugh at memes about it without remorse. There HAS to be a national tragedy/attack fresh in the public's mind. A poisoned well WILL eventually dilute out the toxins given time, so it needs to be re-poisoned every so often.

       The problem, of course, is that if they actually managed to rope anyone into the Jan 6th op that had truly malicious intentions, they and their acts are not publicly known about. The only ones we know about ARE the good-intentioned "patriots" that care about the constitution and the good ol red, white, and blue. Civnats and blind trump supporters, basically. All the pictures and videos indicate that politicians were cowering while these people just kinda took a tour of the capital. Sure, a podium got stolen and some feet were propped up on desks for photo ops, but no politicians were harmed and no critical information was exposed or anything. It's a joke to treat it anything at all like a "domestic terrorist attack", and the public knows it.

       So how/why did they fuck up? Pride, naturally. They think people care about the lives of politicians. They WANT people to care about the lives of politicians. Nobody does, though. The people in charge are fucking clueless and out of touch with the common man and it's having huge detrimental effects on how they typically control people.
