@becassine I mean if priests are as frequent rapists as public school teachers, doesn’t that say something about them? That they’re no better than the system set up around them? Yeah there’s a lot to religion, but the church is awful. It’s awful from anyone’s perspective. Rapists get caught and then they’re protected by the Pope. All kinds of weird things come out of the Vatican like support for immigration and climate change stuff. If this is the most holy institution in the world, it sure seems to shill for evil people pretty much all the time. So what’s wrong with saying you have religious trauma? Why can’t people be sincere about that on the internet?

@becassine True. I went to a very religious highschool and i'm pretty fine.It's usually people that feel the need to rebel or massive fags that have a problem with catecism and religious education.

Our perception of the frequency of the whole "sex pest priest" is driven by the media, who also coincidentally never mentions the huge incidence of child sexual abuse in the Jewish community.Funny how the media does that sort of thing.

jews do a ton of work to prevent any of their internal sex abuse problems from being discussed and its why so many rabbis get a free ticket to israel when they get caught so they can hide there. if i remember teachers abuse kids at a rate of 500% more than any religious affiliation. the catholic church is just an enticing target to jews and fags to hate. a major part of why the church gets so much flak is that its largely a monolithic organization so anytime a scandal occurs then its easy to add a tally mark for the whole church. i dont deny there are issues in the church and despite some cleaning up being done in the past 30 years there is a lot left to do. the jewish media rarely pushes most religious scandals to a national level unless its a big organization. the number of different christian sects in the usa dilute the ability to point fingers at anything other than one local pastor fucking up. there was a story 3-4? years ago about the split happening in some baptist group and a lot of abuse allegations came out of the infighting, but that story was gone in a month. tl;dr dont send your kids to public school and be wary of leaving them with anyone who isnt trustworthy family

The fact it’s done by homosexuals is no plus in your category. The fact the church is infiltrated with homosexuals wYou’re just arguing for conservatives. You’re arguing for a prior that has no benefit to you. Yeah, the Boy Scouts got destroyed because they let in homosexuals who were raping children. Does that mean it was a good institution? America was destroyed by niggers destroying cities and Jews subverting institutions. If your enemy controls and institution, and it’s acting in an actively harmful way towards your people, why is it good? If the Boy Scouts are letting kids be raped because they’re afraid to offend the homosexual lobby, why are they a good institution? If the church covers up homosexual rapes of children HAPPENING IN ITS CLERGY, why is that a good institution? Is that not wolves among sheep? It’s more horrifying than public school crimes, because everyone knows public schools are evil. If the Catholic Church is destroyed by homosexual raping people, it deserves to be destroyed, just like the Boy Scouts reaped what they sowed when they didn’t root out the homosexuals preying on children in its troops. Not saying abandon the church, but you know, I’m not going to shill for it either as long as it remains this evil. As long as it covers up undeniable rapist activity in the church, as long as it does things like accept Jewish conversions to run its resettlement operations, as long as it, simply put, it keeps trying to destroy our people, I’m not going to shill for it either. It doesn’t matter who’s fault within the church it is, it ultimately comes back to the church, because it’s their job to stop this from happening. I have no faith in the Catholic Church.

I merely propose that 1. sexual scandals within the church are overrepresented and are not the main problem that the church is creating and 2. @dharmadudebro @becassine well it’s true in either case. The point is it’s systemic, and the system won’t do anything about it. The saturation of homosexuals and rapists is one thing, but the fact the church won’t do anything about it, either because it’s concerned about it’s reputation, or it’s just Jewish and trying to cover up for homosexuals who rape kids, is either way a no-win scenario. You can’t defend an institution that systematically protects child molesters. It’s a valid point to say they’re mostly homosexuals, but why are there homosexuals in the church being allowed to rape? Why is this not something that is purged? You’re making a different point, but this Is still valid, I think.

@becassine ok but for me the book is by CS Lewis or Kant and we're being made to read it for the 10th time instead of covering *literally any other writer*, because our lecturer has a literal autistic fixation on those two and essentially has somehow never read another book on Christianity.I would have engaged in a classroom deatchmatch just for 1 day reading Tomas Aquinas or something I swear.

@becassine by the way, if you think I’m joking his bookshelf in the classroom only had works written by those authors, like 7 annotated bibles, and a bunch of the Religious Education textbooks for years 7>12.He would start each lesson with a “Fun Fact” about CS Lewis or Narnia and then ask us if we thought it was true or not. He wrote Aslan fanfiction and shared it with me once, when he found out I liked fantasy novels. It was fucking terrible and Aslan was teaching the 4 children from The Lion The Witch & The Wardrobe about fair taxation and other governmental policy.You cannot imagine the sheer, unadulterated glee when the state curriculum meant he had to let us read the greeks, most of us didn’t even care about the greeks but it was something new so we all brought crisps, soda, and biscuits to that lesson to throw a “Read another book” party.
