i feel america and canada and to a lesser extent australia are countries that were artificially injected with the trappings of a culture but they lack the vital essence, the roots that grip a people to the soil of their country i also feel as though religion replaced culture in america

Canada's history I'm very hazy on. There was something there, but it was also destroyed. Same with the other anglo colonies that've persisted into nation-states.

ofc all those countries had a thing that would have birthed a somewhat strong culture, but as it stands they have the trappings of a culture but nothing else.

@shitgrifter @nugger I call them "Founding Stock" and you can usually tell when somebody has genealogy that goes back to like the 1700's or not. Even just the phenotype can be enough to distinguish.
