       @koakuma @icedquinn 100-105°C is Tjunction max for most desktop CPUs.Anything over 90°C is bad and will cause throttling, but they can take up to Tj max.

       my desktop runs around 42-50c and my thinkpad runs about 72c under normal load both ryzen 3700 (desktop is 3700x thinkpad is 3700u)

       @icedquinn @inference @koakuma Only if you use one of these. I use an aftermarket cooler that's much more powerful and it keeps my aggressively overclocked CPU at a comfy 65 degrees under max load.
