       oh, I agree -- this needs to be blown open immediately.  the pandemic is over, it is now an endemic cold virus, and not all that remarkable, but it is everywhere now, and can't be put back in a bottle.  all of the corrupt medical boards need to be prosecuted as well.

       @not_br549 @urbanroman Here in King County it looks like we just passed the peak, last wednesday was highest numbers and daily numbers have declined since.  Very early on in Omicron there were a few (less than five) deaths but as Omicron displaced Delta deaths dropped to zero, hospitalization rate is .46% and 90% of those don't require ICU which means they admitted someone with the common cold so they could get the federal dollars.  So once Omicron ramped up, more than 20,000 cases so far and ZERO deaths.  I think actually common cold is probably more deadly with the occasional bacterial pneumonia secondary infection.
