       Finally got to yt-dlp over #youtubedl today and have to say this: the #FreeSoftware community never will cease to amaze me. You can try to silence it with subtle or not-so-subtle methods (like what seems to be going on against uberspace right now), but forking and hacking will always persist.Applause for everyone involved!

       @sahil my limited research into the matter has shown me that after the Oct 2020 github takedown, big media is trying to force the company hosting the project's website - Uberspace - to take it offline.So far, it looks like Uberspace is fighting the request.
