Cleaned a very gunked up hand pipe in the kitchen sink using only super hot water and dish soap.Got the bowl under the stream and I kid you not within 3 minutes all of the crap had softened and got shoved out the mouthpiece.I will never use alcohol and salt again.

@argo It's the best way to do it!! The previous owner of my house put a hot water faucet outside, connected to kitchen water line/wall. It has come in handy for cleaning my glass.

@SamiOh It was bad too. It didn't matter how many bamboo skewers I stuck in it. Totally full.

@SamiOh I use Bamboo skewers cut in half to clear the bowl every time because it doesn't break the delicate ORIFICE.

@SamiOh Consider the lowly bamboo skewer. You can cut them a length suitable for your elfen size, they have a gentle rigidity to get stuff from the sides and as I say, the tapered tip is ideal for navigating any number of bowlholes. I generally swap 'em out every couple months or sometimes I whittle the gunk off and keep goin'.

@SamiOh I use the blunt part I cut off to shove in the neck to clear things up a bit.

@SamiOh But I also have a 100' roll of super soft baling wire that is good for getting in the carb hole under the bowl.

@SamiOh I'm usually really lazy about doing the actual cleaning and try to stave it off with the above methods.
