       @RonOgletree @Gmajv My initial reaction was just a mild cold chill of, "Why are you playing internal politics so early, divisive one?"Because that kind of maneuvering, if genuine, is usually backdoor/back room. He would be having private talks with both parties - and other senators.

Well, I think we know.McConnell standing strong against the Filibuster thingy with he and Cotton directly quoting and using video of Schmuckie's words then, vs now has left ole Lindsey feeling a little flat footed.So, who does he run to?        @StevenDouglas I think he's trying to nudge Trump into refraining from complaining about McConnell all the time. Imagine what that would do to morale and solidifying control after 2022 if Trump continues to do so.
