I need your help with a project name. The inputs are raw bytes and the output is the largest chunk of disassembly I can produce from it using known instruction set disassemblers.I compare it to finding a catalogue in a unknown language and tearing out a page that the previous owner dog eared. At the moment I’m just calling it raw endian because I’d even settle for just knowing the endianness. The other terrible name I come up with are raw dog earing.

@JoYoSomething related to how RNA transcription works because it's basically this .. it just glomps on where it can and keeps going until it can't.

@JoYo, speaking of dictionaries, how does "vortaris" sound? It's the Esperanto root for dictionaries, "vortaro", plus the suffix for making it a verb in the past tense: "is".And you get "Me vortaris". This would be "I was dictionarying" instead of the actual sentence: "Mi tradukis". You could also use the suffix for present tense to get "vortaras", or the future tense for "vortaros".Making up words this way is a common practice in EO, even in EN, hint: Searching but with G.

@JoYo a play on computing, endianness and “compendia”, plural of compendium - “a short but complete summary of something” - gives you “compendian” ?

@JoYo, vi nomas ĝin magio, sed vi parolas pri inversigo de la kuirprocezo. Tiuj ne estas krudaj bajtoj, ili estas kuiritaj.-- https://www.translate.com/esperanto-english is doing a remarkable job at translating my original text, it only got "those" wrong. It was replaced with "these", probably because there's no direct equivalent.P.S. What about "krudas"? To make raw (again) — I'll show myself out now. :))

@JoYo, actually, most translation apps are good at Esperanto, everything is predictable and you have about two dosen rules, 16 to be exact, but some are "huge".I believe that one can write a surpisingly accurate parser and shove it into an existing NLP system in a matter of hours. It might be a lot easier to implement than the tool we're trying to name here, it has fewer rules and exceptions.
