I never looked at it as being a bad thing I just didn't want insane, mentally unstable people filling up my feed, or my life, with garbage. I was new to politics too so I had never experienced the kind of vitriol I experienced with the ones who treat politics as a religion. I kept trying to understand where they were coming from. @rosemaxx7 What a blessing for you. I am making a very deliberate effort and am successfully having a relationship with my sister who is a trump hater and a liberal. When I think about things that she has said and done that were hurtful, I recognize these are not helpful thoughts. I immediately put them aside and look at her many very admirable qualities. Idk that we will ever be very close again but I feel good about our relationship as it stands and I believe she feels good about it too.
