@calculsoberic He hasn't any really gorey ones tbh, it is just his style that can be annoying, telling stories. He overdoes it in the house that jack built.Also wasn't a fan of his planet x conspiracy bullshit in melancholia.

@calculsoberic I liked whatever nymphomaniac was though, kinda sucks that one part of antichrist is often reused in his other movies. Lars has always been somewhat artistic in filmmaking, but he is pretentious, and tries to make things seem smart, while they are really not all that genius. He is one of those people who claim that some mistakes in his movies are there for artistic reasons. Antichrist is good though, so that one is worth a watch. Probably his best movie. Lars tries hard, but honestly it doesn't work that way, but he has some good movies.Dancer in the dark is great too, but it has controversy around it, with Bjork & Lars 'abuse'. But yeah, don't get me wrong, I don't "hate" Lars, but he has many movies I don't enjoy.

@RobinWils That's reasonable enough! People's work isn't for everyone's tastes. Sometimes I watch movies even though I think they're bad, just to see what the fuss is about.
