@umad80 idk about delaware hospitals but the numbers I saw in NY were like 96-99% vaccinated. a couple of hundred of morons stood on principle and left and were easily replaced within a week. Most weren't even actual healthcare professionals.

@Debradelai @watch4thedrop I was just re-reading Delaware Online's Facebook post and it's pretty obvious it's a scare tactic. @DonnaLea @Bluecharger69 @watch4thedrop @umad80 Back in the day most hospitals had floors designated for specific care types: First floor was OB/pads, Second med/surg, 3rd floor cardiac, 4th pulmonary, 5th geriatric, 6th neuro/psych, etc. If one floor was overwhelmed, ICU was one of many options to house the overflow from other floors. The ICU rooms that were furthest away from the central nurse’s station/ monitoring area were often filled with med/surg patients when those floors were full.

@DonnaLea yes hospitals have tons of speciality designated areas 1easier for neuro docs to round on all his/her patients rather than running around the hospitalEach specialty has direct protocols and meds. Nurses become specialists of the core they work for.

@umad80 I do not understand why there's an age limit for the shot. Everyone the I know that got shingles were in their 40s. Mine was around my rib cage, some nights I felt like I was going to die because I couldn't breath. I still have residual nerve damage. @spinmaven @Bluecharger69 @watch4thedrop

A friend was misdiagnosed with a sinus infection and after a week he ended up in the hospital with shingles covering his neck, ear, side of his face and started toward his eye, which you know can cause permanent damage. @watch4thedrop Well that's a shame. I would think poor results are better than nothing. I can think of at least 5 that were in their 40's that got it and it was horrendous. I know it's worse on the elderly. My husband got it but was able to start Valtrex with the first symptoms and did very well. He only got a small itchy patch & few blisters on his side. I was not diagnosed until 4 days after symptoms started and Valtrex didn't help me at all. @umad80 @spinmaven @Bluecharger69
