I had a really sick dream. My wife's mother was sick, and our quest to get her into the hospital led us to transferring her into North Korea. While she was in the hospital we went to negotiate with some Russian rich pricks (somehow it was the family of Konstantin Ernst) about the terms of her treatment. The negotiations failed, and they wanted to send us back with untreated relative, but me and my wife we didn't give up, we decided to secretly stay in their house to listen for what they are going to be talking about. We just were not sure it was a "No" or they just wanted from us something we couldn't grasp. Somehow they spotted us and sent us to the shore of the river where Korean authorities execute the traitors. They told us it wont hurt, just a bullet in the head. However Ernsts were to lazy to escort us, so they just told us to get there ourselves. On the way to the shore I realized that no one is watching us, while all the other soldiers were busy leading their prisoners with black sacks on their head. I told my wife that it wouldn't be worse if we just run away - we're condemned to death anyway. At least that way we can live a bit longer. It was rational but I couldn't just simply run - it was against the laws and rules. Somehow we overcame our convictions and ran. Everything felt so real, I was so scared and also felt the same stupid irony I always do when something important happens. That time I was thinking that it's good if I could end my last day with fulfilled goal of 10000 steps a day my watch wants me to do.That was a nice summer time, we got to see the capital of north Korea. It looked just like any big enough Russian province city, Ekaterinburg, lets say. Not knowing what to do next we went to the railway station. We were counting to find someone responsible for smuggling people across the border, or, at least jump on some train to the airport cuz it felt like in the airport we could find some sort of embassies or press, and that local authorities wouldn't dare arresting us in such place. Train idea failed - all the cars had a soldier with a machine gun. I knew, they probably don't even know that we're runaways but the stakes were too high. We tried to jump on top of some car, but there were some old lady talking to my wife. She told her that we can get the help wee need only in local Russian diaspora, and that going to the airport just like that is a suicide - no one of locals goes there, so, they check everyone really hard. So we went back to the city. Just like in any other Russian city - anywhere you go you get to the place you don't want to be. For us it was Ernsts house. We were afraid to use public transport so we went everywhere on foot, we were sleeping in the bushes at night and asking for food from locals. It was our luck, we managed to stay in clean clothes so authorities didn't see us like homeless, also we were dressed quite well, so we looked like authorized foreigners no one want's to cause trouble. I remember going different open worker cafes trying to talk to anybody who could understand English or Russian. Everybody wanted to help so bad but no one knew what could they do. At that point I realized that we could get caught only if someone decided to check us closely or if Ernsts would spot us somehow. So we were walking pretty freely there. Somewhere there the fear started to fade and the rest of the dream isn't that interesting

@404zzz@stereophonic.space you know those dreams - when it feels really way longer then it was. Probably because at some point of the dream you may have a memory of some previous long event that you not necessarily experienced
